Assistant/Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (1 year term)

The department of Engineering and Engineering Technology at St. Cloud State University is accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position in Electrical Engineering. The depeartment houses ABET accredited programs in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Details of the programs can be found at https://www.stcloudstate.edu/ece/.

Salary Range: $64,963 - $188,620/annually

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Teaching experience in the areas of analog electronics or digital electronics.
• Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualification

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Teaching experience in the area of analog electronics or embedded systems with microcontrollers.
• Industrial experience in electronics design, embedded system applications.
• Research experience in the areas of power electronics, power systems, digital control applications, digital signal processing applications, artificial intelligence, or wireless communications.
• Experience in engaging students in research or development work.
• Demonstrated ability to develop externally sponsored projects.
• Experience with ABET or other accreditation.
• Willingness to work overseas.
