Description:

The University of Oklahoma's College of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS) invites applications for a full-time, renewable-term faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level in Project Management. With an anticipated start date of Fall 2026, we seek an innovative educator and practitioner who will develop, launch, and teach in a new Project Management major within the college's adult-focused, online degree completion programs.

PACS is a national leader in accessible, workforce-aligned education for adult learners. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping a curriculum that reflects industry standards, emerging practices, and the college's mission of expanding access to high-quality, flexible learning opportunities. This position includes teaching online courses, mentoring adjunct faculty, and providing academic leadership for the development and continuous improvement of project-management-related offerings.

This nine-month position includes a four-course online teaching load each semester, curriculum development, and academic leadership within the project management discipline. Because community engagement is central to the college's mission, local residency in the Norman/Oklahoma City area is expected.

Application Instructions:

Applicants should submit a comprehensive cover letter, current CV, and contact information for three professional references via Interfolio at https://apply.interfolio.com/183810. Additional materials may be requested at a later stage. The search will remain open until the position is filled.

The search committee will begin reviewing applications on May 1, 2026.
