Economics, Finance-Economics, and Mathematics-Economics. Faculty contribute across the department's course offerings in addition to teaching courses in their areas of expertise. The teaching responsibility is five courses per academic year. We are interested in hiring faculty members with diverse perspectives who will foster innovation in our curriculum and provide a rich and varied educational experience for our students. A PhD in economics or a closely related field by August 1, 2027 is required. Furman University is a selective private liberal arts and sciences college.
