Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a tenure-track
position in Civil Engineering to begin in Fall 2027. RMC’s
ABET-accredited Engineering program is part of the Department of
Physics, Engineering, and Astrophysics and includes a rigorous
series of foundation and elective courses focused largely on
Engineering Mechanics as well as hands-on, project-based design,
and analysis courses where students learn to apply the essential
technical principles to a series of complex, real-world
problems.
Major/Essential Functions : Randolph-Macon College faculty teach, advise, conduct research and engage in scholarship with undergraduate students, and serve the College and program.

- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely-related field at the time of appointment with a focus in the area of Structural Engineering
