Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership at an educational
institution required, residential college or university
preferred.
At least 4 years of experience in Student Conduct, with
experience in alternative resolution processes preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be
considered.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and
families and to provide advice and support undergraduate, graduate,
and medical students through student conduct procedures.
Experience in managing crises effectively and
collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight
timelines within a task-based and project management
framework.
Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a
team.
Ability to negotiate with peers and superiors to ensure work is
completed.
Organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving
issues on multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivating, professional, flexible, comfortable with
ambiguity in a diverse organizational environment.
Sound judgment and the ability to make difficult and timely
decisions with integrity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to utilize technology and institutional databases in
the documentation of records and support of students.
Flexibility to evolve with a dynamic student affairs
environment.
