Serve as the principal advisor to the Senior Dean on enrollment, financial aid, student success, and student affairs. Lead organizational planning and change initiatives that strengthen enrollment, student outcomes, and operational effectiveness. Execute complex administrative decisions involving enrollment, student progression, crisis response, and institutional policy. Recommend policies and strategic initiatives that advance institutional effectiveness and accreditation compliance. Enrollment Management - Lead the College's Strategic Enrollment Management plan, integrating recruitment, admissions, financial aid, retention, and student success.
- Establish enrollment goals and forecasting models using market intelligence, demographic trends, predictive analytics, and institutional data.
- Evaluate recruitment strategies, scholarships, and pipeline programs to optimize enrollment and institutional resources.
Financial Aid - Provide strategic oversight of financial aid operations, scholarship administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Align financial aid strategies with enrollment, affordability, retention, and graduation goals.
- Monitor financial aid utilization, student indebtedness, and related metrics to inform institutional planning.
Student Success - Provide executive leadership for student success initiatives, including academic progression, academic support, wellness, professionalism, engagement, career development, and professional identity formation.
- Oversee academic progression processes, including remediation, academic coaching, leaves of absence, reentry, and other interventions that promote student success.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student retention, persistence, graduation, residency match outcomes, and overall educational success.
- Oversee student conduct, professionalism, disciplinary processes, and appeals in accordance with College and University policies.
- Lead student behavioral intervention, crisis response, and the resolution of complex student concerns in collaboration with university partners.
- Collaborate with university partners to ensure coordinated student support services, including health, counseling, disability accommodations, wellness, financial wellness, resilience, and belonging.
Career Development & Student Engagement - Direct career advising, residency preparation, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
- Oversee residency advising, ERAS preparation, mock interviews, and transition-to-residency programming.
- Foster student leadership, engagement, service learning, and co-curricular experiences.
- Build partnerships with alumni, faculty, residents, and clinical partners to strengthen mentoring and career development.
Assessment, Accreditation & Continuous Improvement - Ensure compliance with COCA accreditation standards, university policies, and applicable regulatory requirements while serving as the institutional leader for accreditation activities related to enrollment, admissions, student affairs, academic progression, and student outcomes.
- Lead policy development, institutional assessment, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives that advance organizational effectiveness and student success.
- Oversee institutional dashboards, analytics, reporting, and performance metrics to monitor enrollment, retention, graduation, residency match, licensure outcomes, student satisfaction, engagement, and overall institutional performance.
- Utilize data analytics and benchmarking to evaluate program effectiveness, inform strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate stewardship of admissions and student records.
Collaboration & External Relations - Collaborate with academic, clinical, and administrative leaders to advance enrollment, student success, and institutional excellence.
- Advise College and University leadership on enrollment management, admissions, and student affairs.
- Represent the College and cultivate partnerships with alumni, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and professional organizations.
Budget and Resource Authority - Develop and administer budgets supporting Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and Student Success.
- Allocate resources, evaluate staffing models, and identify operational efficiencies that support strategic priorities.
- Participate in institutional budget planning and capital resource discussions as a member of the senior leadership team.
Position ProfileFacilitates results through management and support of business practices and policies in order to effectively manage Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (HCOM) resources and programs. This includes activities such as finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, academic/research programs and/or student services. Ensures effective management of HCOM operations through strategic coordination of critical resources.

Minimum QualificationsRequires a Master's degree in a related field, 10 or more years of related professional experience, and 7 or more years of supervisory experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Terminal degree (D.O., M.D., Ed. D., Ph. D., or other appropriate doctoral degree) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated executive or senior leadership experience in strategic enrollment management, including enrollment planning, forecasting, financial aid strategy, institutional resource allocation, and data-informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex operating budgets and exercising executive-level fiscal responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, build collaborative partnerships, and use data analytics, predictive modeling, and key performance indicators to guide institutional strategy and operational performance.
- Senior leadership experience within a college of osteopathic medicine, medical school, academic health center, or other health professions education environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of COCA accreditation standards and experience with accreditation, continuous quality improvement, and institutional assessment.
- Experience leading strategic enrollment management, financial aid, student success, retention, and enrollment forecasting initiatives.
- Experience working within a multi-campus or distributed educational environment.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and data-informed decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, relationship-building, financial management, and organizational skills.
- Active leadership or service in national or regional professional organizations related to enrollment management, admissions, student affairs, student success, or medical education.

Pay Rate: The approved hiring range for this position is $130,010 to $178,764. Offers outside of this range require additional approvals. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.
