Team with other academic deans and associate deans. Workload for teaching, program leadership, and administration is commensurate with thirty (30) credits per 12-months. This is an administrative, non-tenure position with appointed faculty rank.
The successful candidate would be responsible for administration of the 1-2-1 Dual
Degrees in Nursing partnership with Luzerne County Community College (LCCC), the RN to BS in Nursing program, the Accelerated Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (ABSN), and developing graduate-level nursing programs in collaboration with their directors. Responsibilities include
teaching in the programs.
A Doctorate in Nursing or related field is required but candidates with evidence of matriculation and
significant progress in a doctoral program of study will be considered. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania,
demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and a minimum of 5 years of experience
teaching in nursing education. Administrative experience in nursing education is preferred. Successful candidates will also have experience
with accreditation of nursing programs, administrative ability, interpersonal skills, leadership and management skills, and the capacity to
work positively with internal college communities (both King's College and LCCC) as well as with external medical and health systems. The
successful candidate will support the Holy Cross Mission and Catholic identity of the College. Salary and rank are commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
