Rhode Island College invites applicants for the positions of Associate Director, Institutional Research & Planning. This is a full-time, academic year, continuing position.

As Associate Director of Institutional Research & Planning, you’ll be the campus leader ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic power of the institution’s data—fueling insights that guide planning, drive innovation, and strengthen student success. You’ll lead high impact reporting, champion new technologies, and produce research that informs decisions across every corner of the college. Required qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of experience in a comparable research-related position.
- Experience in maintaining and ensuring integrity of databases.
- Experience managing IPEDS and other reporting requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the social/behavioral sciences, education, economics, statistics or other quantitatively-oriented discipline.
- Experience in institutional research.
- Experience working with an ERP system, such as PeopleSoft.
- Experience with business intelligence/data visualization tools (Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Services, Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.)
