Associate Lecturer in Public Health

The School of Natural Sciences at Birkbeck, University of London is seeking a part-time, fixed-term Associate Lecturer to teach on the Public Health module (level 6), involving 27 hours of teaching on Thursdays from 6-9pm in the Spring term.

Your role includes delivering teaching to undergraduate bioscience students, preparing teaching materials, organizing sessions, communicating with students, providing student support, and marking assessments. You must have knowledge and experience in public health and be qualified to the corresponding level or have equivalent professional experience.

This position contributes to teaching on the BSc Bioscience and Health and BSc Biomedicine programs, introducing public health concepts. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in biological and health sciences is required.

Remuneration is based on an hourly rate of £69.68, inclusive of London Allowance and holiday pay, for contact hours worked, covering preparation, teaching, administration, and assessment.
