About the Role

As Associate Lecturer in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography), you will contribute to high‑quality teaching across Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and related health sciences. You will support the design, delivery and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework in line with School and College priorities. This is a teaching‑focused position (70% teaching, 20% research, 10% service).

You will engage in educational research and scholarship, supervise undergraduate research projects, and play an active role in enhancing the learning experience across the Medical Radiation Sciences programs.

About you

You are a diagnostic radiography practitioner (AHPRA registered or eligible) with experience in tertiary teaching and a strong understanding of contemporary issues in Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Radiation Science and broader health disciplines.

You enjoy working collaboratively and value inclusive, collegial academic environments. You contribute thoughtfully to teaching innovation, student success and a culture of continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Expertise: Graduate academic qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography), with significant clinical experience and expertise in professional practice education in Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Imaging.
• Registration: Currently hold, or be eligible for, unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiographer).
• Quality Teaching: Demonstrated capability to deliver engaging, high‑quality learning experiences informed by student feedback and evaluation.
• Curriculum Development: Ability to develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops and clinical learning activities.
• Engagement: Willingness to contribute to academic service, committee work and emerging external collaborations.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within diverse academic teams.
