About the Role
Flinders University is seeking two Associate Lecturers in Psychology (Teaching Specialist) to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of psychology education and strengthening Australia’s mental health workforce. These are high-impact, teaching-focused positions where you will inspire the next generation of psychology professionals through innovative curriculum design and engaging learning experiences across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Each position offers a unique focus and opportunity to make a difference:
- Support the University Placement Allocation Committee (UPAC) through logistics and administration for postgraduate psychology placements.
- Contribute to postgraduate psychology curriculum, including work-integrated learning, simulated learning, and teaching of psychological competencies.
About You
You are an early career academic with a strong focus on student learning and teaching excellence. You approach your work with energy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset, contributing to curriculum development and the growth of your teaching discipline.
As an Associate Lecturer in Psychology, you will also bring:
- Honours in Psychology (or equivalent qualification) with relevant professional or academic experience.
- Evidence of contribution to teaching and the scholarship of teaching.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
