Job Summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a world-class medical destination at the forefront of transformative science, medicine, education and patient care. The Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a full-time Associate Professor with expertise in leukemias to join the Division and is seeking a Board certified or board eligible hematologist for this purpose.

The new faculty member would be expected to participate in clinical and translational research related to leukemia, and to engage in training of medical residents, fellows, and others associated with the Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Ambulatory-based patient care, caring for patients with blood cancers
• Partner with Hospital and School of Medicine partners to grow and build the leukemia program
• Supervising nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, fellows, residents, and medical students as needed
• Conduct out a research program
• Participate in and leading outreach activities, including outreach clinics outside the CU-Anschutz campus, educational events for patients and their families, camps for patients, work with patient advocacy groups, and other similar initiatives
