About the opportunity

• Lead accreditation, quality assurance, and partnerships in teacher education, while contributing to outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate teaching outcomes.
• Drive high-impact research, secure competitive funding, and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations to enhance the School’s national and international reputation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, mentor academic staff, and actively contribute to governance and external representation.

About you

• A completed doctorate in Education or closely related field.
• Demonstrated track record of sustained excellence in leading the development and delivery of courses and curricula in teacher education.
• An outstanding track record in excellence in research at a national level evidenced by a series of high-quality peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality international journals.
• Demonstrable experience of leading public engagement activities that promote research leadership and/or education outcomes, government and industry.
• Demonstrated experience working in teacher education including accreditation, quality assurance processes, and building professional partnerships.
