"Associate Professor/Lecturer (Business, Tenure Track) Full-time Position"

The Faculty of International Liberal Arts at Soka University conducts all its courses in English and is dedicated to fostering individuals with a broad-based education and critical thinking skills to thrive in a global society. We are seeking candidates to teach business-related subjects at the undergraduate level in English.

Courses to teach include Principles of Business, two courses on Business for levels 300-400 (including No-code Predictive Analytics with AI), Seminar I-III, and additional undergraduate and graduate-level courses.

Responsibilities also include university/faculty administration and research.

Location: 1-236, Tangi-machi, Hachioji-City, Tokyo, 192-8577 Japan.

Position: One available for Associate Professor or Lecturer, starting April 1, 2026, on a tenure track basis.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Business field (or expected), minimum three referred publications preferred, N2 Japanese proficiency recommended for non-native speakers, and teaching experience encouraged.

Compensation: Salary based on university regulations, approximately 5-10 million yen for Associate Professor and 4-9 million yen for Lecturer annually.
