The Micro- and Nanoscale Bioengineering Lab (MNBL) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a research associate for biosensing of cardiovascular diseases. Applicants with a strong background in biosensor design and fabrication, as well as in clinical diagnostics, are encouraged to apply.

Research in the MNBL focuses on the design and fabrication of biosensors for the early detection of cardiovascular diseases. Responsibilities of the position include the development of 2D materials-based biosensors for the detection of miRNAs. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment comprising PhD-level scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students, thereby acquiring valuable skills in writing manuscripts and establishing collaborations across disciplines.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in the science/engineering field. They must also have excellent biosensing expertise; multi-year experience in clinical diagnostics is a plus.
