Description
The Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for an Associate Teaching Professor position.
The selected individual will be expected to participate in the undergraduate and master’s programs in Applied Mathematics and Statistics by teaching classes in statistics, optimization, discrete mathematics or numerical analysis, and by advising students enrolled in the programs. Successful candidate must have a strong academic background, with a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics, and is expected to have a strong commitment to, and excellent credentials in, teaching mathematics or statistics.
