Associate Vice President for Advancement
Job Responsibilities
The Associate Vice President for Advancement provides strategic leadership in securing substantial philanthropic support to advance the College’s mission and priorities. This role manages a portfolio of high-capacity donors and plays a critical role in campaign strategy, major gift cultivation, and cross-campus collaboration. The position works closely with senior leadership, serves as a key liaison to the Foundation Chair and Board of Directors, and is a member of the President’s Leadership Team. It is responsible for advancing fundraising performance, expanding donor engagement, and fostering a strong culture of philanthropy across the institution.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master’s degree with 8–10+ years of progressive experience in higher education advancement.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated track record of securing multiple six-figure or greater gifts, as well as experience with capital campaigns or comprehensive fundraising initiatives. Proven success in cultivating and stewarding major gift donors and managing high-level donor relationships. Mastery of donor management systems and fundraising analytics is preferred.
