The Department of Philosophy at Baruch College, CUNY, is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor position, tenure track. The position will involve teaching introductory-level undergraduate courses as well as elective courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. We are seeking a philosopher with a strong research profile.
Area of Specialization: Value Theory
Area of Competence: Applied Ethics
NOTES: All CUNY employees must reside within a commutable distance to the tri-state area.
Compensation and Benefits: $86,741 - $98,995. Within this range, the salary for the job will be decided by the Deans of the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a PhD in philosophy and demonstrated teaching excellence at the post-secondary level.
