Position Summary:
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY
The Behavioral De-Escalation Program Manager develops behavioral de-escalation and management course content, establishes policies and procedures related to restraints and seclusion, and oversees training and implementation of behavioral de-escalation and management across all clinical programs at MMI and off-site locations. They manage emergency behavioral responses at MMI and problem-solve individualized adjustments on specific patient cases. They also lead strategic planning and development for all future expansion of behavioral de-escalation services in the region.
* This position will regularly encounter potentially moderate- to high-risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to the employee. These situations may include, but are not limited to, providing behavioral emergency support in situations where the patients display property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression.
Salary Range: $76,900 - $123,000/annual
