Biology Instructor - Community College Faculty
Develop and deliver engaging and culturally responsive curriculum materials; provide meaningful feedback to support student educational growth; collaborate with colleagues across liberal arts and technical programs; actively participate in the profession and in college activities. This position is a hybrid position, which allows for online teaching, but does have an expectation of being on campus at least 1x/per week.
Salary Range:
$43,912 - $95,542: Dependent on education and years of experience, there are step limits in the contract that we are limited to, with the highest salary delegated at around $71,893.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
- Master's degree with a major in biology OR
- Master's degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in biology.
Preferred Qualifications
- A combination of education in and experience with teaching courses in anatomy and physiology
- Demonstrated familiarity with and commitment to the missions and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
