Job Description

The Senior Lecturer will be required to teach, undertake research, publish and attract research funding in the discipline of midwifery. Teaching will be undertaken in both undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programs, along with research supervision. Where required, this position will also act as Program Director.

What we can offer

This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based at either the Logan or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range

The full time equivalent base salary will be CSL Level C range $132,666 - $152,975per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $155,219 - $178,980 per annum.

Qualifications

You will also hold an unrestricted registration as a registered midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). You will also possess:

• A PhD in midwifery or related area, with evidence of teaching excellence.
• Have a research track record and commitment to midwifery values.
• Prior experience in curriculum design and development along with course coordination.
• The knowledge and skillset to successfully attract competitive research grant funding.
• A track record of publishing high quality papers (highly desirable).
