Position: Bookstore Warehouse Associate
Department: Finance & Administrative Services
Type of Position: Part-time Temporary
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week
Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No
Starting Salary Range: $15.34-$16.80 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Receive, price and stock merchandise. Perform operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at end of semesters. Take part in cyclical and fiscal physical inventory. Assists receiving specialists in accepting, checking in, and breaking down shipments as they come in. Assists Online Order Specialist with picking, processing, and completing online orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Entry-level support role.
  • Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
  • Requires a High School Diploma.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assists Textbook Receiver Specialist in accepting, checking in, and breaking down shipments as they come in and within 24 hours.
  • Assist Online Order Specialist with picking, processing, and completing online orders with the use of JCCC Software and Applications within 24 hours.
  • Participation in cyclical and fiscal physical inventories.
  • Occasional help with answering phones when a specialist is unavailable; collecting caller information and message to relay a prompt call back
  • Tag textbooks and merchandise and get them ready to be stocked on the sales floor.
  • Ability to complete detailed work accurately, communicate effectively, prioritize, and have organizational skills.
