Perform furniture moves and replacements campus-wide and specific to campus barracks.Perform event set-ups for various large and small scale events, including Parades and weekend events. Not limited to six weekend events per year: Matriculation, Parents' Weekend, Homecoming, Accepted Student's Day, Corp Day and Commencement.Perform minor adjustments/repairs to grounds related equipment. Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid South Carolina Driver's license is required. Must have relevant experience in ground maintenance and operating grounds related equipment to include; weed eaters, mowers and blowers required. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be in good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform the required work. Be able to lift objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds and carry them a distance of 50 feet; must be able to work off of elevated platforms Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Some holiday and weekend work required. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in temperature and humidity extremes including inclement weather. Operates vehicles, various lawn and grounds.
