Business Administration Program Director
General Summary
The Business Administration Program Director works directly with Business Administration faculty, CCC departments, and external partners to promote, organize, and implement Business Administration initiatives on behalf of CCC throughout the 25-county service area. The director will work with associate deans to manage course scheduling, expand community partnerships, build and coordinate internship/apprenticeship opportunities, and provide leadership in integrating AI across the curriculum. The director will lead business faculty meetings, support faculty onboarding, and facilitate curriculum review and improvement. This position will be split as 66/34, with 66% as the Director and 34% as instruction. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates BSAD initiatives across the college and service area according to college policies and procedures
- Builds and coordinates internship and apprenticeship opportunities for Business and Accounting students
- Manages and refines course rotations to ensure quality, consistency, and accessibility across campuses and modalities.
- Coordinates communication and relationships with faculty, staff, and community partners regarding BSAD initiatives across the college and service area; recommends direction/initiatives.
- Expands community and employer partnerships to promote the program and increase enrollment.
- Provides and/or coordinates instruction for students, staff, and other professionals; organizes and/or teaches courses, community and continuing education seminars, and student cooperative education/internship opportunities.
- Lead Business faculty meetings, support faculty onboarding, and facilitate curriculum review and improvement. Assists with guiding the implementation of the Assessment of Student Learning plan aligned to program outcomes.
