The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a CAMPUS AND PARKING SERVICES SPECIALIST. The Incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide protection to district property; guard against intrusion, theft and vandalism; make oral and written reports of any hazardous conditions affecting the security of District buildings and grounds. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION

This recruitment will be used to form a substitute Campus and Parking Services Specialist pool.

Type of position: Full-time SubstituteThe work hours for the substitute positions are 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.(midnight) OR 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and may be subject to change.

Duration: Possibly as long as three (3) months to six (6) months.

Salary: Range CL-30

$23.96 - $29.96 Hourly

$4,153 - $5,193 Monthly (based on 40 hours per week)

Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($23.96 per hour) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Graduation from high school or equivalent, prefer one additional year of college level course work in related field or certificate of completion in security or law enforcement training. Six (6) months of security work experience or parking and transportation services experience may substitute for one year of college level course work.
