Job Description
The Temporary Career Development Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Professional and Career Development Center (PCDC) at the School of Law by providing administrative and programmatic support for student, alumni, and employer-facing initiatives. This role assists with communications, event logistics, and maintenance of records and databases. The position also assists in the collection, tracking, and reporting of employment data.
This role may also assume increased responsibilities based on experience and departmental needs. These may include supporting or delivering career development programming, assisting with reviews of application materials, and contributing to employer outreach and recruitment activities. The coordinator works collaboratively with students, alumni, employers, faculty, and colleagues to support career planning initiatives.
Shift
The role will start on September 1, 2026 and end on December 20th, 2026. It will be Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evening events.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
A Juris Doctor Degree or a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling or Higher Education Administration
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as up to $28.00 an hour.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
