Job Description:
Summary:
Ticket Office and Event Support workers will assist the Ticket
Office and Front of House Supervisors in providing a positive
patron experience for all. In addition to comfortably using the
ticketing system, Ticket Office support staff will run the Will
Call table during events and respond to telephone calls and
voicemail. Ticket Office and Event Support staff will be crossed
trained to work in both Ticket Office and Usher positions.
Essential Functions:
- Assist the Ticket Office and Front of House Supervisors.
- Provide a positive patron experience for all.
- Use the ticketing system.
- Run the Will Call table during events and respond to telephone
calls and voicemail.
Other duties assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-time.
- 20 hours per week.
Salary Range:
Required Education and Experience:
- Student must have an active Federal Work Study (FWS)
award.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform
an activity such as preparing tickets for distribution and viewing
a computer terminal.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- One year experience in a customer service-related field
(retail, restaurant, etc) preferred, but not required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Worker will occasionally need to lift, carry, push, pull or
otherwise move objects up to 15 pounds.
- The job involves repetitive motion and substantial movements
(motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
