Are you a dynamic and flexible individual seeking an exciting opportunity? We are currently looking for dedicated candidates to join our team, where adaptability is key. As the nature of our workload experiences peak volume periods throughout the year, we require team members who can effortlessly transition between various working hours. The ability to work flexible hours during these high-demand periods is key to ensuring the continued success of our team.

  • Casual positions - hours will vary during the year depending on peak student intake periods
  • Must be available to commence in December and work up to 36.25 hours per week throughout the months of December, January and February
  • Based at the Cairns Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield (on-site)
  • HEWL 5 casual rate: $50.64 per hour plus superannuation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a casual Enrolment Help Officer, you’ll support the Client Services team during peak periods and throughout the semesters to deliver high-quality customer service by responding to enquiries in a consistent, skilled and knowledgeable manner to enhance the student experience. You’ll provide timely information and accurate advice on a range of matters including supporting students through the enrolment and class registration process. This support is delivered to students face to face at the Cairns campus, over the phone and via online chat. The role requires flexibility, with availability for a variety of shifts each week, including some after-hours work on occasion.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills as well as well-developed written and oral communication skills. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate flexibility to work increased hours during the 5 intakes and Orientation periods (Trimester 1, 2 & 3, SP1 & SP2). Outside of these peak periods, the workload will fluctuate during study periods.
