Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Catering) (GG706)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the back-of-house team within UEA’s Catering Services. As a Catering & Hospitality Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our kitchens and stores operations to deliver high-quality food services across campus.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Supporting food preparation as required
- Contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our catering service
About You
We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to support colleagues across different areas of the service.
Essential qualities include:
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to assist wherever needed
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable, though not essential
- Availability to work any five days out of seven
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not required
