Job Summary/Basic Function
The Athletic Trainer will work collaboratively with the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Health, Wright State University Team Physicians, and additional support staff to ensure our student-athletes are provided with services that center on prevention, emergency care, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. This is a 12-month position which requires work and travel throughout the year. The sport assignment will be Baseball.Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Board of Certification recognition as a certified athletic trainer
- Eligibility to meet Ohio Athletic Trainers' Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 Years of Certified Athletic Training Experience
Essential Functions and percent of time
30% - Consultations/Evaluations:- Recognize and evaluate injuries and illnesses both on the field and in the athletic training room.
