The Department Chair is a twelve-month, tenure track position and reports to the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers both undergraduate and graduate programs, with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, and Masters of Science degrees in Mathematics and in Applied Statistics. The department has a diverse group of faculty across a broad range of mathematical and statistical fields. The successful candidate should be able to interact with both mathematicians and statisticians across a wide range of subjects.
