About the Role

As a Change Manager, you will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of change management across complex student and education projects at Flinders University. Working under broad direction, you will take accountability for shaping and implementing effective change strategies that enable successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.

You will partner closely with senior leaders, project managers, and stakeholders to assess change impacts and readiness, manage risks, and drive engagement and adoption across the University. The role involves developing and executing integrated change, communication, engagement, and readiness approaches, facilitating workshops and targeted activities, and providing strategic advice to leaders to build change capability.

This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring transformation initiatives deliver intended outcomes, embed sustainable change, and align with Flinders’ strategic objectives and people‑centred values.

About You

You are an experienced Change Manager with a strong track record of leading complex change initiatives across large or diverse organisations. You bring a deep understanding of contemporary change management frameworks and apply them pragmatically to deliver measurable outcomes, translating complex change impacts into clear, actionable strategies that support informed decision‑making and successful adoption.

You excel at building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, and are confident navigating resistance and supporting effective change sponsorship. With strong communication, facilitation, and leadership capabilities, you bring a solutions‑focused mindset.

Experience in higher education, the public sector, or large‑scale transformation environments will be highly regarded.

The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement, led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality and Enhancement), is responsible for key functions that support the University’s academic standards and student experience. These include Curriculum Services, Student Policy and Integrity Services, Academic Quality, Compliance and Risk and Strategic Projects.

Within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Portfolio, the Strategic Projects team plays a vital role in supporting strategic and operational priorities across student-related and academic services.
