Chauncey Truax Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Philosophy
The Philosophy Department at Hamilton College invites applications for the Chauncey Truax Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Philosophy. The position is a two-year appointment as visiting assistant professor or instructor, to begin July 1, 2026, with a teaching load of three courses per year. AOS and AOC are open; the department is especially interested in candidates whose work includes engagement with public philosophy. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred. The expected 9-month base salary range for this position is $57,500 to $60,000.
