CLEER Docent (Part-Time)
Position Summary:
Gannon University's Project NePTWNE is seeking to expand its pool of qualified part-time docents/guides to join the Center for Lake Erie Education and Research (CLEER) team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations including:
- Welcoming visitors to the open and accessible center space
- Assisting visitors with the proper use of interactive exhibit technology within the center
- Cleaning touch screens and other exhibit items when not otherwise engaged or as appropriate
- Communicating, listening, and sharing thoughts and ideas with visitors based upon interactive exhibits.
This position will remain posted for 12 months. Candidates that best fit an open adjunct position, when it come available, will be contacted to determine if they are interested at that time. At the end of 12 months this position will be closed and an new position will be posted if needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn about the exhibits
- Timely and dependable
- Welcoming and inclusive demeanor
- Excellent English written and oral skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-lingual
- BS in environmental science or a related field
