Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons or eligible to become Certified by the American Board of
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
Full Minnesota dental license or eligible for full
dental/specialist licensure in the state of Minnesota
Full dental anesthesia license or eligible for full dental
anesthesia licensure in the state of Minnesota
Required Experience:
- Experienced surgeon in procedures that encompass full scope
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery both clinically and minor/major
operating room procedures
- Be able to provide examples or evidence of quality teaching at
both resident and predoctoral levels
Preferred Experience:
- Clinical teaching with lectures and seminars
- Providing clinical coverage and supervision of both predoctoral
and resident levels
- Participation in committees and governance
- Participation in and providing continuing education
- Clinical practice
- Serving as a mentor to faculty and students

education/qualifications/experience
