The Department of Information Systems in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor at the Tempe campus location with an appointment beginning in Spring 2026.
Essential Functions: The candidate must contribute to the Department of Information Systems’ mission in the areas of teaching and service, and must be able and willing to teach AI in business, business analytics and information systems courses to both undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates must maintain status in one of the four designated AACSB categories: Scholarly Academic, Practical Academic, Instructional Practitioner or Scholarly Practitioner.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in business administration, information systems or related field by position start date;
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills or strong teaching evaluations;
- A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional experience within the information systems and/or business analytics profession, an active learning agenda, and papers, articles, tutorials, or manuals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellence in teaching information systems and/or business analytics courses;
- Significant service and professional contributions to the information systems and/or business analytics profession;
- Experience with training and industry partnerships;
- Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including executive, onsite, hybrid, online, graduate and undergraduate levels;
- Demonstrated knowledge of artificial intelligence through innovative teaching practices, cutting-edge research, and/or thought leadership in academic or professional communities.
