Must hold an active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
with a current license in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania or
Delaware
Desire to assist and instruct students in clinical
settings
Commitment to being available during agreed-upon clinical
dates
Experience with adult and pediatric patients in a variety of
floor, emergency and critical care settings.
Ability to work well and communicate effectively with students,
staff, faculty, administration, and colleagues and clinical
partners in large and small settings
Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and
understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic and ethnic
backgrounds of students, faculty, and staff and a commitment to a
student-centered environment.
Preferred:
- BS in Respiratory Therapy
- ACLS
- Critical care experience: 3 years
- Additional specialty credentials (ACCS, NPS) demonstrating
additional expertise in specialty areas
- Previous clinical instructor/preceptor experience

Instruction in use of equipment and activities associated with
patient care replicates the clinical setting and requires physical
capacity comparable to that of a practicing respiratory therapist

Physical Demands

mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or

SALARY: In compliance with the State of New Jersey’s Pay
Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $75/hr. When
