Job Summary/Basic Function
The Clinical Lab Associate - Skills and Competency supports undergraduate nursing students in the development of foundational clinical skills within the Learning Resource Center (LRC) in the Department of Nursing in the College of Health, Education, and Human Services (CHEH). Working under the direction of faculty and LRC leadership, this role provides hands-on instruction, guided practice, and competency support aligned with course objectives, program outcomes, and accreditation standards.This position reinforces psychomotor skill development, clinical reasoning, and safe patient care practices by assisting with skills instruction, remediation, and competency validation. The Clinical Lab Associate also contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, and student-centered lab environment that supports high-quality learning experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited Nursing Program
- Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license in good standing or eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure prior to start date.
