About the Role

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Lecturer in Clinical and Communication Skills to cover maternity leave. The post is 0.6 FTE for 12 months. The post is based within the Skills Unit teaching the next generation of doctors and healthcare professionals. The post is focused on facilitating students to acquire, apply and retain clinical and professional skills across the various medical subspecialities and will also support additional student selected components in clinical skills to complement the core MBBS curriculum.

You will have a background in healthcare, experience in teaching clinical or communication skills, a good understanding of student support needs and experience of leading and managing others.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

One of six Institutes forming the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, the Institute for Health Sciences Education (IHSE) is responsible for the delivery of the Faculty’s medical degree programmes. Together with partner hospitals and primary care practices, we provide an innovative, forward-thinking, and responsive curriculum to our passionate, diverse student body.
