"Clinical Lecturer & Lead - Violence Reduction Academy"

About the Role

The post is based in the Trauma Sciences research team within the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma, www.c4ts.qmul.ac.uk. The objective of the NHS London Violence Reduction Programme is to lead the way in shaping how the NHS can support violence reduction and improve wellbeing in our communities at a population and individual level. The programme comprises of several London-wide projects designed to deliver change, and are well placed to bring young people, their carers and families, NHS, local authorities and other key stakeholders together to implement violence reduction models across London.

About You

The Clinical Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the institute and wider institution. They will act as a conduit between the academic expertise of the research team at QMUL with the policy and strategic aims of the NHS London Violence Reduction Programme. The successful candidates will have a PhD in Violence Reduction, and / or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience. The candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of clinical and behavioural science methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches and experience of developing studies relating to Violence Reduction (study design, development of data collection and methods, study analysis and writeup).
