- Base salary from $106,472 per annum (pro rata .8) + 17% Superannuation
About the position
The Clinical Liaison Coordinator, Nursing and Midwifery (HEO7) provides high-level operational leadership for clinical placements and delivers strategic coordination and senior liaison support to the Rural Nursing and Midwifery discipline teams within the Department of Rural Health Sciences. The role serves as a key interface between the University, clinical placement providers, and the broader Placement Partnering Operations team, ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of clinical placements across complex regional settings.
The position oversees clinical placement coordination processes, facilitates communication and negotiation between a range of internal and external stakeholders, and ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of placement, compliance, and workforce data to support both operational management and strategic decision-making.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
- An undergraduate degree in relevant area to the position (Nursing/ Midwifery Preferred) or extensive experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
- Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
