Job Description Summary
The Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator B. The CRC will join an interdisciplinary team of research staff and analysts working to create, test, and scale solutions to improve cancer care delivery. The Coordinator will implement day-to-day research activities for a complex portfolio of projects related to cancer control and care with oversight from Principal Investigators and PC3I's Associate Director for Research Operations. Additionally, this person will operate independently to maintain regulatory databases and track key components of the research processes.

Job Responsibilities
- Initiate study procedures for several pragmatic trials in cancer care: conduct and oversee recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up procedures for study participants. Train other staff on these procedures as needed.
- Coordinate primary data collection and preparation for studies using quantitative and mixed methods. Perform chart review for recruitment and outcomes assessment.
- Independently interface with regulatory authorities and maintain databases to ensure compliance with CRMS, IRB, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop project documentation, including portions of project plans, study protocols, standard operating procedures, and other regulatory files.
- Draft reports, memos, and research summaries. Coordinate project meetings and track project tasks and deliverables.
- Act as a mentor to student research assistants as needed and provide guidance on best practices related to implementing pragmatic trials and other types of research studies in cancer care, implementation science, and public health.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position contingent upon continued funding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
