Clinical Research Coordinator
The CRC serves as the primary contact point for participants and their families for an established study designed to develop new diagnostic tools for autoimmune, infectious and post-infectious neurological conditions, including meningitis and encephalitis.
Under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wilson and Dr. Joseph DeRisi, the Clinical Research Coordinator will perform independently or with general direction at the fully operational journey level of the series to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols; coordinate the data collection and operations of several concurrent clinical research studies under the guidelines of research protocols, UCSF and regulating agency policies. Responsibilities include conducting capacity assessment and informed consent procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings, medical chart review, data entry, collecting specimens from various clinical labs, management/organization of an extensive biobank and general administrative support. The Clinical Research Coordinator will interact with many departments at UCSF and outside institutions, including physicians, clinical lab staff and nurses. As such, communication skills (written and verbal) are essential to the role.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate).
