Clinical Research Coordinator
The Clinical Research Coordinator will perform independently or with general direction at the fully operational journey level of the series to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols, as directed by the Principal Investigators and Violence Prevention Professionals (VPPs) of the Wraparound Project. This position will coordinate the data collection and help implement and maintain violence reduction initiatives.
The Wraparound Project (WAP) is one of the first Hospital Based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) in the United States. The WAP screens all victims of violence ("clients") at San Francisco General Hospital and enrolls individuals at high risk for traumatic reinjury into the program. The success of the WAP is due to culturally appropriate Violence Prevention Professionals (VPPs) who provide long-term case management and use their extensive professional expertise and community connections to link clients with employment, educational programs, legal services, mental health services, relocation services, outlets in the arts, community service projects, camps, and retreats.
The CalVIP grant provides three years of funding to support the WAP program. The aims of this grant are the following: (1) Increase access to and engagement with WAP services through the implementation of a mobile app ("WrapApp"); (2) Increase access to and engagement with mental health services; (3) Strengthen leadership structure to enhance program workflows and evaluation. A major focus of this grant is to improve data collection and program evaluation.
The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate).
