Clinical Social Worker

The incumbent will be assigned to Citywide Case Management Forensics Program. In this position, the incumbent will collaborate with criminal justice partners including Jail Behavior Health, NoVA, Behavioral Health Court and Mental Health Diversion Court as well as SFGH Psychiatric Emergency Services in working with dually diagnosed adults in the community. The incumbent will provide comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, case management, individual and group therapy, and substance abuse services. Clients will receive their mental health and substance abuse services at the Center or wherever they are located. The incumbent will assist clients in meeting their needs and will make referrals as appropriate. Our programs are part of the SFGH Department of Psychiatry's comprehensive effort to treat high-risk clients in the community and to reduce unnecessary use of institutional care.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $40.62 - $54.41 (Step Hourly Rate).
