"Clinical Social Worker Supervisor"

This position oversees the Crosscurrents team of the Citywide Focus Program. Crosscurrents has a focus on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, HIV positive and female clients. The incumbent provides direct supervision of case management staff (masters and bachelor level clinicians) and peer staff in close collaboration with the other three teams under Citywide Focus. Supervision of staff includes providing oversight of billing, charting, as well as quality and efficacy of services.

Under the supervision of the Director of Citywide Focus, the incumbent is responsible for clinical supervision and oversight of Clinical Social Workers, Social Work Associates and Peer staff, and collaboration with team Psychiatrist and nurse. CrossCurrents provides intensive case management to adults with severe and chronic mental illness. Duties include oversight of the quality of clinical services provided by the staff, as well as recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff. Assist with conducting staff/team meetings and trainings, and clinical presentations or conferencing. Supports with the design and implementation of program interventions for a client population of severely mentally ill adults, many of whom experience substance use disorders, severe trauma and chronic institutionalization, and struggle to engage in care. Provides direct clinical supervision of case managers' provision of ongoing mental health services including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, and outreach to the clients and carries a small caseload. Makes decisions regarding utilization management, case termination and discharge planning.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $113,800 - $178,300 (Annual Rate).
