This is an exciting opportunity to join a state-of-the-art Clinical Trials Unit managing nearly 200 sponsored and investigator-initiated Phase I to IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas. - Addressing data queries to accurately reflect source data within 30 days to ensure database locks are met.
- Maintaining oversight of repeated queries and ensuring clinical staff are trained to collect and document trial data accurately and consistently.
- Providing general advice and training to Clinical Trial Trainees and Clinical Trial Coordinators in data entry and data query resolution.
- Reviewing and tracking data entry metrics for reporting to the Clinical Trial Executive.
- Communicating effectively with sponsors to facilitate monitoring visits, data cleaning, and query resolution.
- Ensuring serious adverse events are reported to sponsors within 24 hours of any CTU staff becoming aware of the event.
- Supporting clinical trial coordinators in following up data collection from outside institutions such as GPs or hospitals.
- Tracking clinical trial data in the CTU clinical trial management system to support billing and invoicing.
- Supporting the transition from paper-based to electronic medical records.
- Ensuring appropriate blinding of patient data and compliance with Australian privacy laws and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Maintaining GCP-compliant documentation in coordination with Clinical Trial Coordinators.
