Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's
Required Field of Study: Physical Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, etc), Healthcare/Public Health or related field
Certifications or Licenses Required: Clinical Trial Coordinator 2 or 3: CCRC/CCRP or related Clinical Research Certification
Number of years required to perform the job: Clinical Trials Coordinator 1: 1 year; Clinical Trials Coordinator 2: 3 years; Clinical Trials Coordinator 3: 5 years
Type of experience required to perform the job: Experience with recruitment or in other public health related work; Research or clinical experience in a hospital/clinic/academic setting
Substitution: At the CTC 1 or 2 level, an LPN and 2 additional years may substitute for the Bachelors. At the CTC 2 or 3 level, one additional year of Clinical Trials experience may substitute for the CCRC/CCRP at the department's discretion. AT ANY LEVEL, a Masters or MD degree can substitute for one year of experience.
