Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer serves in a senior-level information technology role. This person is responsible for maintaining the operational status of Office 365, along with other virtualization and infrastructure components. This candidate will work closely with other members of the Hosting Services team. The duties of this position are to provide Office 365 support, along with email archiving/DLP. The candidate will be required to work both independently and collaboratively to address incidents, problems, provide access management, and contribute to infrastructure enhancement projects. Candidate is required to have strong analysis and decision-making skills with the ability to participate in briefings, participate in technical cross-functional meetings, a strong commitment to process, and an understanding of change and configuration management principles. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintaining Office 365 and all its components. The candidate should be able to be a leading contributor on large projects, be a self-starter, and be able to work and operate in a collaborative environment. The Cloud Engineer will be in near constant communication with other engineering staff, project managers, and other project or operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems, and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of Office 365 solutions to include maintaining user authentication solutions either in the cloud (Azure) or on-premises (Active Directory). Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems with Box.
OFFICE 365 SOLUTIONS: Responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Office 365 solutions (Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Directory Sync) as well as Box.
AUTOMATION ENHANCEMENTS: Propose and implement automation enhancements and process improvement efforts
LEAD INITIATIVES: Lead initiatives, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for Systems Engineers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and a minimum of four years of Information Technology Systems experience required, with a focus on Office 365 administration/Box administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Windows Server OS support, RHEL (8, 9), VMWare vSphere 7.0 or higher, Active Directory (ADFS, DNS, GPO), Enterprise Backup solutions (Dell Data Domain), Cloud hosted engineering (Azure, AWS, Box), SAN Technologies (Dell Powerstore), and CAS. Certified Identity Governance Expert. Experience in ITIL Practices, IT Governance, Advanced Excel, ServiceNow, Information, and Cyber Security.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
Microsoft messaging or collaboration technologies.
Extensive operational experience with hybrid and cloud technologies; Box, Microsoft 365, MS Teams application support in a large, highly secure, complex multi-domain environment.
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft server OS.
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Azure AD, Azure AD Connect (DirSync), Active Directory, and DNS.
Must be able to demonstrate expert-level abilities with PowerShell scripting.
Must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Box.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; M-F (Work outside of the standard business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B15
Salary: $82,800/annually-$100,000/annually
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
