Representative Duties
The BC Communication Department participates in the Bakersfield College Early College program. Depending upon student need, interested applicants should expect that some or all of their teaching load may be assigned to Early College courses taught within rural high school settings throughout the college's service area.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication or organizational communication OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication or English OR The equivalent.
A demonstrated sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities.
